ABSTRACT : As a medium, the exhibition is a place of mediation that links the existing relationships between the exhibits, the public and corresponding knowledge. The exhibition thus proves to be a means of communication, which offers the public a museum experience that must be updated and can update itself in various ways and depending on the venue (a museum, a writer’s house, a library). Using a transdisciplinary approach, combining Literature and Information & Communication sciences, this article is a reflection on the forms and issues of the museum space as a place of mediation and representation of literature. Based on an essay on typology, this study focuses on the communicative modalities of reappropriating the author’s figure within a pluralist museum space.
